原因英语(出国英语)

       引导原因状语从句的连词很多，

       because 重点在原因

       【例句】：Just because he does not want to obey commands from school, he wants to drop out.

       【翻译】：因为不愿意遵从学校的命令，他想要退学。

       【例句】：you are chosen to attend the conference because you are excellent in studying.

       【翻译】：因为你学习出色，你被选中去参加这次会议。

       as 和since，重点在结果

       【例句】：Since you spent too much, I will limit your spending.

       【翻译】：鉴于你花销太大，我将限制你的花销。

       【例句】：As it is too late, let take the plane instead of the train.

       【翻译】：因为太迟了，我们还是别坐火车了，坐飞机吧。

       for 表示猜测的原因

       【例句】：He must be at home yesterday, for it rained heavily.

       【翻译】：昨天他一定在家，因为下大雨呢。

       【例句】：For the birds are singing, I think it is morning now.

       【翻译】：因为鸟儿在唱歌， 我觉得现在是早晨。

       seeing (that) 用于口语不用于书面语

       【例句】：Seeing that the building is about to fall, you should not go near it.

       【翻译】：那栋建筑物快倒了，你不能离它太近。

       considering (that) 考虑情况，做决定。

       【例句】：Considering your body condition, I 'd rather you stayed at home.

       【翻译】：考虑到你的身体状况，我宁愿你呆在家里。用stayed表虚拟。

       now (that) 表达一个事实引发的可能性

       【例句】：Now that you have a computer, I think you can be more productive in your work.

       【翻译】：既然你已经有了电脑，我觉得你在工作上的效率应该能更高了。

       given that

       【例句】：Given the circumstance, no one could have done better than you.

       【翻译】：考虑到当时的条件，没人能比你做得更好。
